Stiles was the only one who knew.
He paid attention. He listened to her. He remembered.

WANNA KNOW WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS DREAM SEQUENCE

Usually in film and tv, when a boy has a dream about the girl he’s in love with, the girl will appear beautiful and dressed to perfection with perfectly done hair and makeup because it’s the GIRL OF HIS DREAMS. But Stiles doesn’t see Lydia that way in his dream-that’s what I love about this scene. Stiles could have imagined Lydia in bed with him looking like a total hottie but instead, she looks…natural. Her hair isn’t done, it doesn’t look like she’s wearing much makeup, and her outfit isn’t anything particularly sexy. Stiles isn’t in love with Lydia because of her looks. When he dreams about Lydia, “the most popular and beautiful girl in school,” he dreams about waking up next to his Lydia. He chooses to see her for who she really is. That’s who he’s in love with.
